what else for a rebuilt head

im gettin my head 2gt. ported and polished with 1mm over sized valves.. the head has 113k on it what else do i need to replace. im gettin hks cams and the crower spring and retainer kit. the overhaul gasket kit sould come with new seal also right?

Sounds like you've got things pretty reasonably covered. The only thing left, that I can think of, is putting on cam gears. You need to be able to tune that in order to get anything out of it, so if you don't have access to some dyno time, I wouldn't bother.

i mean i hear about puttin in solid lifters, valve guides do i need them. and anything else.. and yes i know about cam gears im puttin on the AGP 50 trim kit and i will have every suporting mod and then some.. tre tranny ect.....i just want to make sure i put everything in the head from the get go and not have a problem later. also the head is being coated by swain tech.

It never occured to me that you were getting a ported head with oversize valves and they weren't replacing the valve guides ...

maybe i should add in all the porting and polishing and puttin the head back together is free???
