im looking at my new fp green but i dont see a water line on the turbo. is there one or no. what do i do with the water line thats already run to i plug it? also where do i tap the new oil line and how do i go about it tapping it?

dry but my stock turbo has a water line corect? so what do i do about that? just plug the hole?

Just plug the water line off. Don't use vacuum caps as they are not reinforced and will break. I just stuck a bolt in the line to cap it off.

Yeah use a bolt to plug it, or you can get another water pipe from a N/T and swap it on there. That's what I did with my 50trim. Solves the whole problem there.

Yes, a NT water pipe would be cleaner, but us folks running stock 2g motors don't have that option. I had to hammer the living h*ll outta my water pipe to fit my green on.

You can simply loop the water line. Thats how i did mine.

OR you can a SS oil feed line and tap it off the oil filter housing. Check out RRE's instructions here:
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/instructions/oillineinstall.htm

Forced Performance recommends not using the oil feed line off the head for their turbos. Their thrust bearings are designed to be used with higher oil pressure. Good luck.

ooh, i did not know that, good info!

does anybody know the part # of the n/t water line that i can use?

You try looking it up on partznet.com? They have diagrams you can look at. Or you can just go to your local boneyards and try to find one.

Dude you are making this way to hard. go to www.turbosystem.com and order a manifold spacer plate. you will not have to dent or replace anything. Contrary to popular belief, it will not leak. That's what I use and will continue to use.

I think he wants to get an NT water pipe so he doesn't have to deal w/ capping off the water lines.

You can always slot the mounting hole in the water pipe to slide the pipe upwards and out of the way on a 1g. It's a much easier solution to denting the piss out of the water pipe.

Why would you have to cap the water line on a 1G? All you have to do is loop the line with the correct size hose. That's how I did mine, and it took 1 second and 2 hose clamps. You guys are making this way to serious. Get a spacer plate so you don't have to beat the water pipe or cut up the front motor mount support. Then simply loop the water line. bolt up the turbo and its done.
