For anyone that has one of these gauges, did you tap your intake manifold, have a bung welded onto your i/c piping, or use the vacuum line that comes out of the intake manifold to "feed" the boost sensor? I don't want to remove my intake manifold to install a gauge and don't mind having a bung welded to my throttle body elbow if I need to, but it would obviously be the easiest to disconnect my autometer boost gauge and plug into the vacuum line it's using. What would make the vacuum line accurate enough for the autometer but not the SPA digital, or is it accurate enough? Any help from SPA users would be appreciated.

I got a brass 1/8th NPT 'T' from Lowe's and a couple of 1/8th NPT to nipple barbs. I then placed the boost sensor on the long edge of the 'T' and the 2 barbs on the shorter ends. I ran one line off the intake manifold and the other barb into the FPS (Fuel Pressure Solenoid). This is also the VFAQ suggested location. I then all you have to do is mount the completed 'T'+boost solenoid somewhere. I ran a steel flat off the wiring harness bolts off the intake manifold. No tapping, no drilling. Clean and simple.

Thanks, man. That's where I have my autometer hooked up, but the large boost sensor that came with the SPA gauge intimidated me. Thanks again.
