Evo III o2 Housing & Exhaust Compatibility

I've heard that not all aftermarket downpipes will bolt up to the Evo III o2 housing, just wondering how I could find out which ones will, or if anyone has any firsthand experience on this matter.

Most decent eclipse specialists are aware of this. When you order a pipe from them, you can get it with the right flange for either an Evo3 O2 housing, or a standard O2 housing flange. The flange has a wider bolt spacing, and is at a slightly different angle. I have been told you can slot the holes of a standard downpipe to make them fit the Evo3 housing. I got an Evo3 flanged one from RRE, it is easier to just get it that way from the start. It will bolt right up to the Evo3 O2 housing, and work great.

That's what I have to do with my N1 downpipe...

In regards to your 1g. My 3" ATR fit, but to different angle of the flange made the downpipe hit the t'case. But for 2.5" I didn't have a problem.
