549834068psi and not 1psi less.

Don't ask people on message boards a question like this. Put your setup together, goto the dyno and tune your car, you'll know how much boost you can run after that.

15 _should_ be okay with that setup. I run 14-ish with just a rewired fuel pump, and I don't get much knock, but as usual, your mileage may vary. If you don't have a logger, and you notice that after flooring it for a little while, the car just seems to lose all power, turn the boost down a couple psi, it's the car retarding timing due to knock.

If you really want to know exactly how much boost you can run, get a logger, turn up the boost until you see the threshold of knock, then back off a tad.

prob is i dont have a awd dyno in the area and im a broke as hoe so a data logger isnt feasable unless i can find one to fit my laptop, i know theres one for the 2 g but not a 1g as far as i know, but i figure 15 should be cool mabey 15 drop to 14

i also like the 549834068psi idea

HEY FELLAS IM NEW TO THE FORUM BUT I HAD THE SAME QUESTION BUT MY MODS ARE: APEXI N1 EXHAUST W/NO CAT,DEJON TOOL INTAKE PIPE W/ K&N, APEXI SAFC, GREDDY TYPE-S BLOW OFF VALVE, MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER, EVO 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD, STARION FMIC. I STILL HAVE THE STOCK DOWNPIPE. SO WHAT IS THE SAFEST BOOST YOU THINK I CAN RUN?ITS ALSO A T-25. THANKS!

First off i just want to say i too asked this question once, but as i have learned, every car is different, and will act differently to a different combination of mods. There is no way to tell how much boost you can honestly run. It may be 12lbs it may be 20lbs. It all depends on what mods you have but also air temp, elevation, what octane you are using and if all the parts on you car are working properly or not. There is simply too many variables. A car without injectors or a fuel controller probably wont be able to boost past 15-16 psi. The only way to really tell is to go to a dyno or get a pocketlogger. Hope this helps.

HEY GUYS WELL I DID NOT DOWNGRADE, THE CAR CAME WITH A T-25 AND I DO HAVE A APEXI SAFC BUT STILL HAVE THE STOCK INJECTORS. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF BOOST YOU GUYS RECOMMEND RUNNING IM CURRENTLY RUNNING 11PSI BUT I IM A BOOST JUNKIE SO I WANT MORE. ALL PARTS ARE RUNNING WELL. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF BOOST MY STOCK DOWNPIPE CAN HANDLE. I REALLY APRICCIATE YOUR HELP GUYS. THANKS!

THE DOWNPIPE IS THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES. GET A REAL BOOST GAUGE BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT RAISING YOUR BOOST PRESSURE.
AND PLEASE STOP USING ALL CAPS!

sorry about the caps but i do have a boost gauge thats how i know im currently running 11psi i also have an air&fuel and an oil pressure gauge.i also have a manual boost controller. so any help would be apricciated. thanks!

i would hit like 14, i cranked to 16 today and i think ill leave it there, anyone have a lead on a like pocketlogger but for a laptop, just need the cable and prog ne idea??

jon

15 psi is the magical number. IF you have a SAFC, add a little of fuel to the top end so you know your not going to run too lean. Also go invest in a pocketlogger:thumb:
