1g or cyclone intake on a 2g

Hopfully this is in the right forum...

I want to us a 1g intake mani and a 1g throttle body on my 2g ( read that it's better flow ). Is there s difference in the years/sensors..etc..etc.. Would a cyclone mani be worth playing with if I got it cheap enough?

Any intake manifold will work, a '90 throttle body won't work. Don't get the cyclone.
