Intake Manifold and Throttle Body

Hey guys I just bought a 1g intake manifold and throttle body. I saw the installaton procedure for the throttle body, but will the intake manifold bolt right up in place of mine? I have a 1997 gsx ... what needs to be done to make the intake manifold fit? Thanks.

yes it will bolt right up to the head. however, with the ports being nearly twice the size, you're air will be hitting a brick wall. it's better to just port the 2g intake to 60mm and install the TB, or install a 1g head altogether... or port a 2g head and install the 1g manifold

Be noted that you won't have a port for the MAP sensor anymore. I tee'd mine off the spare emissions vacuum barb on the 1G throttle body, but I still have a CEL... It's unknown if that's the reason, but given how the car is running, I'd say that's the reason.
