Check engine light on because of 16g?

Hey guys, well I just got my 16g bolted on and my car is running great! But the only thing is that my CEL is on. I took it to auto zone and they hooked it up to the scanner and it was reading code 1104 (if I remember correctly) witch he said was something with the MAF. I told him to clear the code but I’m not sure if he did or if the light came back on because it’s still on.

So leave a post with any info or suggestions / solutions as to how to fix it or anything, thanks guys

Did you drop it or bang it around when you pulled it out for the swap? If you did that can ruin it because it's pretty sensitive to being banged around. Also, is it pluged in? I know that sounds stupid but make sure that it's pluged in fully. Pull the plug and put it back in again and see what happens.

You can clear CEL codes by pulling the NEG off the battery for a new mins...

Well, it's not the turbo. The car doesn't know what turbo it has on it.

Perhaps it's a big boost leak? though I've never heard of a CEL because of it. Get or make a tester, and give that a whirl.

Otherwise, make sure your MAF is all plugged in right.

Check the MAF wiring harness to the air canister, I was getting a code thrown because I had a bad connection between the pin and the wire. I cant remember what code it was, just ohm out each pin while giving the harness a little movement.
