I have to replace the head gasket on my 4g63t and was wondering what is the best head gasket made to replace the old one with. Also what is the stock bore size and what thickness should i get? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is a lot of good info on this already. Check out the 3 page headgasket thread in the extreme tuner section. With that being said, There is no "best" headgasket to use. Different people have different needs and different opinions. My opinion is that if the block and head are still stock, then an MLS factory composite gasket would be the best choice.

I have a mitsu metal 4 layer gasket and ARP's on my car, but it has yet to see any serious driving conditions to determine its reliability. I would reccomend getting ARP head studs no matter what gasket you go with though.
