i like FMIC soo much, but i don't know if i really need one with stock 14B turbo. i don't really have much mods on my car. i mean i still have a stock exhaust. can anyone give me some good experiences with this?

you should spend the grand that you will spend on a fmic on other things first. bottom line

so do i, considering its at least a grand if you go with a good Core...theres nothing wrong with installing a FMIC on a 14B, im doing it, thats what anyone smart would due IMHO, not just jump straight into a bigger turbo. But that grand u would spend on a FMIC will get u what u need (e.g. mbc, fuel pump, exhaust, intake)...work with that first ...

true but ON THE 14B, he will with the supporting mods...before i got my 1g, my buddy ran a 14.1@96 in his 90GSX w/MBC and turboback exhaust, then we added a BR FMIC and he killed his 14.1 with a 13.7 [email protected] thought it was a huge gain considering thats a high trap for that time and his run was .4 faster. And on the 14B!!!

that could have possibly been due to a boost leak somewhere in the stock i/c system that got fixed when upgrading everything

i would agree with most the people though, your gonna be much happier with the performance if you get other stuff first (exhaust, DP, boost controoler, ect.)

Just clean up your stock sidemount and get a turbo back exhaust. Let the old girl breathe...

yeah i felt a decent gain from my Exhaust, and i only got a N1 catback right now...but all is good, The Dpipe is on the way and ive already got a 2G ported exhaust manifold and ported 02 housing to bolt right up...cant wait! this beast will be loud as shit...

yeah i think i might hold off on the fmic, maybe a little while. But plans are a T3/T4 50 trim for my first turbo, and ill definitely need it then. id still like to get 12's outa my 14b before i upgrade though...
