I just had my 2g head port and polished and the deck milled for more compression and when first start the car idles at about 1k and jumps to 1200 and back to 1k then when driving the car the idle gets real low and wants to stall out everytime come to stop.

the reason why i ask this question is because my car does the basicly the same thing untill the ecu "re-learns"how the car is set up...after that it makes the proper adjustments and the idle evens out...usaully takes about 5-10 minutes...just a thought...

i drove the car for 2 days until my timing belt slipped and bent my intake valve.

I put all new intake valves in but I haven't put my head back on yet. I wanted to get new lifters anyone know where i can get them cheap?

Do you have adjustable cam gears & did you degree the cams after milling the head "for more compression"... if not you'll have big problems.

Well I assumed that it was quite a bit.. since he said it was done to boost compression.
