I'm rebuilding the motor from my 1g awd. I was wondering what would be a good setup to run about 18 psi on a daily driver? Would 2g pistons with some eagle rods be all right?? Any information that would point me in the right direction would be appreciatted.

What kind of turbo are you planning on running? But pretty much either way a stock engine would be enough. But since you are rebuilding it any ways 95 pistons and big rods would be enough. But if you want go with forged internals for a bit more just incase you decide to turn to up the boost a little more.

Friends of mine and myself run 18psi daily on stock internals..:thumb:

Like he said ^^^ there would be no dis-advantage in throwin in 95 pistons.

I SAY IF YOU ARE RIPPING THE MOTOR APART AND REBUILDING IT SPEND SOME CASH AND GO FOR EAGLES AND SOME WISECOS OR ROSS PISTONS BUT THATS JUST MY OPINION

You say that you will be only running a 16G but things will change. It happens to everyone they get boost happy and want more power. If I were you I would go with some eagle rods and wiseco pistons, just incase.
