SOMEONE HELP Urgent O2Sensor Question

can anyone tell me how many different 02 sensor part numbers there are for the 1G car? and what if any are the ill effects of having the wrong one in there?

i cant get my car to tune for sh!t, 4500 rpm the car goes lean and backfires.

walbro 255 no fpr, MAFT with 3.5 incher in blowthru mode. dsr550 injectors. HELP ME.

The early 90's have a different sensor than the late 90-94 cars. Check your build date on your car. I believe the early 90 uses a white sensor.

Probly messes everything up. The early 90's have different t. bodies, ecu etc. They are the bastard child of 1g's.

Yes, use whatever sensor is made for the year/model of your ECU.

If it plugs in it will work, if it doesnt plug in you can rewire it ad make it work.

Also the denso o2 sensors are the best one out right now, they are more resistant to race gas.

if you want to save money you can buy a universal 4 wire o2 sensor and wire it up instead of buying the specific sensor. It usually save 30 dollars.
