I got new OEM mitsu rod and main bearings for my 2G but I think I got wrong ones, at least the rod bearings are strange! please help to clear this out!
The parts ID`s are correct but those new bearings are much narrower than the old ones. Is it just the modification?
parts number is: MD195940

thanks,

The rod and main bearings have to be sized up to your crank and block. Your dealer should have asked you for markings on the block and crank to match them up. From what I understand there are three different combos possible on a 2G. Six bolts are a different story.

Yea, this is correct, actually there is 5 sizes of bearings. I have seleceted them carefully but they are different by thickness. I wonder why my new bearings are narrower for about 2mm?
