I'm doing a 6 bolt swap into my 95 talon . The motor I bought fron the junk yard had an oil cooler on it but the person who pulled the motor trashed it. I still have my oil cooler off the 95 but the filter houseing is differnt so I was wondering if you can swap the whole houseing . If not I'm going to go with a perma cool 10695 kit and use an air cooler with it , but to be more cost effictive i would like to use the 95' s oil filter houseing...

Nope, different bolt patterns.

What about some type of thermostat for the oil cooler? An easy way to run your cooler would be to get a 90 filter housing, which has a built in thermostat and two M16x1.5 outlets for air/oil cooler lines.

Ok I found the solution to my problen I'm going to get a Perma_cool 10695 remote oil filter kit and a air cooled oil cooler.:dsm: :dsm:

why dont you do what im doing? I ran into the same prob as i did i bought the engine from the junk yard without a oilcooler but i managed to buy an oil cooler of the board for like 65 shipped with everything
i think that was cheaper than a aftermarket one

btw...i want to know how your are planing on installing that air to air oilcooler?
im a bit stumped... i mean i have ideas but no how tos...
thanks man
