HKS cams....feedback???

what cna i expect from a set of HKS cams and valve springs....hp increase as well as how it drives. I have a cam in my golf and i love it. Just wondering if anyone had info related to this....

1st post.....should be getting my 91 talon TSi in about 2-3 weeks....jsut gotta go pick it up. So i'm new to the forum. Bunch of friends have talons so i figured i'd join them.

Search is your friend. Try looking at www.automotosports.com ... They did a big review of various types of cam's and actual dyno #'s on the gains etc.

264s or 272s? It's quite a difference. 264s idle like stock, make no noticable drop in torque at low RPMs, and the car pulls much harder from 5,500-7k. This was my impression with a 20G and stock intake manifold on my car a couple years ago.

HKS is the way to go & yes cams do make a noticable difference.

Some dsmers put the straight 264's down and say its not really worth getting and some dont. You just have to see how far your gonna modify your car and choose what cam you want. if you have big plans might as well get the 272's.
