4g64 On The Way

Well I finally got a decent job and now can start to build up my car.

Ok here is what I have

2G GSX - My Body
1g 94 turbo - My Engine

4g64 Availible To Me


Ok I have all the parts for the 1g and 2g engine but I wanted to go to the 2.4 and I want to do the work myself. I know I could get magnus to do it but I like the satisfaction of building my own car. Now I know reliable and performance do not go together, but I want to build a high HP/Torque street car and to be as reliable as I can get it but I know things break.


Ok a few question I needed answered to get me on my way.

1) Will a 4g64 bolt to an the 2g AWD tranny?

2) In Your opinion what bottom end internals would you recomend? I have done some research and have an Idea of what I want to get but I always like to hear other peoples Ideas, I might have missed something.

3) Anything you wish to add

Whether or not the 64 block that you have will work depends on what it came out of. If you have a 6 bolt 4g64 it will work and if you have certain 7 bolt versions it will work.

Oh God no, not a 7 bolt

6 Bolt for sure
