Debating between these 2..Which gives a Better sound for the car. I dont want it to loud but i want it agressive sounding..Kinda a OxyMoron. anywho just want some opinons. thanks.

i've never heard the GReddy but performance wise i'd definitely go Apex because its 3" and GReddy is surely smaller. the Apex sounds really sweet and the GReddy would probably be quieter due to its smaller diameter. I've never heard complaints on the Apexi N-1 sound however. I own one and i absolutely love it. Purrs at idle and at cruise (so its not annoying for highway drives, mine gets very quiet when it settles down to a highway speed in 5th) and blasts at WOT.

I have the EVO, no complaints here, nice and deep sound, plus it looks good. I also really like the N1, I would have gotten that, but they were on a two month back order when I was shopping for a catback. I love how they angle out the back. I'd go N1 if I had the chance again

I saw a comparison of cat-backs on a toyota celica in a magazine, I think it was a Turbo mag, anyway, the apex N1 brought the hp from 161 to 164 and I think the dB at idle and 3000 rpm were 79 and 86 respectively. The Greddy was 166.3 hp and 83 at idle and 3000 rpm. Dont quote me on the numbers but I think they are right. Anyway, they are both very decent, and at least the sound levels are practically the same. The comparison didnt include a qualitative growl-ometer or anything but it gives you an idea.

Hey all you guys that say "N1", is there a reason you prefer the N1 to the Greddy? Maybe its just because they are both decent but the N1 is usually cheaper I dont know, but I was wondering if there was any logic behind your answer.

if u dont have a catback already get a o2 eliminator turbine back...i made the mistake of getting a n1 (not really a mistake) but i wish i got a downpipe that came with 1 so i dont have to bother with gettin my o2 housing ported but have been very happy with my n1 stainless and thermal :)

I've never seen anyone that runs a GReddy exhaust on a turbo eclipse. I've had at least a hundred people recommend the N1. That was enough for me. As to why I recommend it, it is not too expensive, sits neatly under the car without being really huge and visible and the sound is great. If you want to see what it looks like, go to my gallery. I took a couple pictures of it just so people can see how it sits under the car.
