Alright guys, i finally got my car running. Put a Big16, 3" RNR exhaust, 255 fp, egt and boost gauge, ported evo mani. The damn thing runs like a scalded ass ape. I had problems getting the title in my name, got that fixed today. Was going to get it inspected and going on the prowl to show off a bit, it is running bad ass, then around 5 miles later......... buck, buck, jerk. It started running like crap. The car was just pouring out smoke and missing. (dumping fuel). I got no CEL. Now it wont start and i am in the middle of the road. I keep cranking and it finally starts up and i floor it and clean it out and am moving a little at a time, just keeping alot of throttle and RPM to keep it running. Then it will load up again and die (even at WOT) Wait a bit longer on the side of the road, and finally it will start again and ill drive a bit more and it does it again. I finally make it home, 5 miles away in about 40 minutes. I am pissed!!! I took my time and did everything right. Well all this happened at about 5 pm. I just went out 9 pm and started the car and it idles perfect, and goes through the RPMs fine. Just like before. I really like my car but i am getting........frustrated (for a nicer term). Any help guys. Just replaced the coolant sensor and knock sensor. Thanx in advance.
 
Some kind of escape of metered air from the system which led to flooding.

If you ever flood it again FLOOR the pedal and hold it down then crank a while. There is a TPS setting at which it will have a fuel cut or flood clear mode. If that don't work pull the rear seat and the FP terminal then crank a while that works on ECU's that don't have the previous feature.
 
alright, i had checked all the hoses and other things last night about 9 when i went out to go check it out again. It started and revved fine, sitting in the garage, no misses or signs of flooding. Before i couldn't even be at a stop sign and keep it running. I got it started by keeping it floored until it finally started. (used to be a carb. freak. LOL) But i could not even keep it running before after i got it started, it would miss and sputter stationary in neutral or in gear.
