I recently dropped a 4G63T Cylcone engine into my 95 RS ( For all you haters my car runs just fine and it wasnt even hard to get in ) But i'm only 16 and very new to how a turbo car runs, the engine is completely stock, I don't know what I should buy first, what are the must's for a turboed car? I plan to put a 20g on it, but if there is any parts that someone would reccomend me put on my car, and any things i should look out for on my car i would be greatly appreciative thank you

definately bs. i think u need a new trans, enigne, harnesses, ecu, etc.

Yall are so ####ing retarded...yes u need all of that stuff, yall are so stupid OMG i cant belive yall would even waste your time putting that, duh i got a turbo tranny, yes i had to move hte crossmember, yes new gauge cluster, wiring harnes and ecu, it came with all that u ####ing retards, the only thing u need to do is fabricate new motor mounts dur hur now uh how about i get some answers to my question not " your bullshiting " suck dick...its not that hard , it only took me 2 weeks and yall think its so impossible....new crossmember, new motor mounts, ecu, harness, tranny and gauge cluster, woopdy do , all of that can be done for under 1000, n i paid 1500 for the engine, tranny, ecu, then i bought a wiring harness for 60...eat ur shit....

geeze... someone acts like they are 12... lets see some pictures of it?? if you know how to do all of this then your dumbass should know what is needed to put a bigger turbo on... but since you are so ####ing stupid ill guide you through some of it..

needed for a 20g.. (some of this may be off, or not completely correct, but its close enough for your dumbass...)
front mount intercoolern with piping
bigger injectors
safc to control injectors
exhaust
fuel pump
maybe a FPR to control the bigger fuel pump
u plan on using an external or internal gate? or do u even know what that is?
datalogger
some gauges-- boost, egt, etc...

anyone else care to chime in on this?
o ya, asshole, if u have done this.. where are the pics??
 
how about a LS/ evo swap , balls of a DSM with the reliability of a honda, build it with 12 to 1 compression, and don't for get the dual BB turbos from a skyline you had in the backyard.:thumb: running at 50PSI of boost!
 
ya i dont mean to be a dick or anything...well after that post the you had earlier i wouldn't have a problem with it. So before i say bs or actually believe you i would like to see the pics of this engine swap that you have done. of course with some proof that it wasnt a gst to start off with.

P.S.- oh ya don't come on here talking about how you have done something not to many people have done ask for help and then get mad when people ask to see this cause they have a hard time believing you or for calling you a dumbass. which by the way it seems like you are, because anyone who is smart enough to do this swap should be able to figure our what is needed to run a 20g. later.
 
ok...how hard is it to rip one out, and put a new one in, obviously not to hard but people seem to think it is, and why would i mention an intercooler seens it came with the engine....but i guess i should b more specific, and just cuz i know how to put an engine into my car dosnt mean that i know everything...but i guess i should huh ? and btw i'll get pictures as soon as there developed and skanned and yada yada yada...i dont see what hte big deal is, how does everything think its so hard, the engine bays are pretty much the same, a few minor things need to b changed ... not like trying to put a v8 into it...
 
ok sh!t head, so you put a cyclone engine in huh? where did you buy the evo front clip? cause the n/a dsm has nothing in common with the turbo models.

BTW what side is your timing belt cover on? ( if you are looking at the engine bay from the front)

i'll wait for your response, but first lemme get mah waders on cause it's getting pretty deep in here.

lets start with the transmission
1. it sits on the opposite side
2. it will not bolt up to the 4Gxanythingx

how about mounting? axles? ecu? wiring?

go get a civic! moron ( or lemme guess you would try to bolt an H22A to a B series tranny)
 
I checked the gallery and I see two pics. None of the engine bay. I think its time for a kodak moment! Perhaps maybe after that you either shut us up and we'll help, or try to post in dsmtalk.

I think if you can do this, you should be able to read the upgrade path, and figure out what you need for a 20g. Post reported, as we don't tolerate gutter trash talking here.

Can you guess how happy that made me? You are about a hair's thickness from having your ass booted and I don't care what you have in your car. Acting like a spoiled 12 year old brat has no place on this board.

Here is a hint: You posted that you had done something that most of the respected shops wouldn't tackle because of it being a huge pain in the ass. Then when people question if you really did it, you blow up and throw a temper tantrum. Grow a set and prove to the disbelievers that you actually did it by posting pictures of the install and such.

Beyond my better judgement, I am leaving this open so you can continue your questions and have a chance to prove that you actually did this swap. However, I better not see even a smidgeon of a response like the one above. And that goes for everyone else involved as well.
 
1. Yes it sits on the oposite side, tranny i already told you...gs-t engine, gs-t tranny, why are you telling me that it wont bolt up ? and the timing belt is on the right side...i know its completely oposite from the n/a models, but the engine is still about the same size and there is ample room to mount it where i needed it to, and i alreayd told u i had to fabricate new motor mounts...why do u keep asking about things ive already told u , yes i got a ecu and yes i got a wiring harness, as ive stated several times in the last post...and like i said, im working on getting some pictures up here....

Having done a JDM swap myself, I know the intercoolers don't come with the engines. Also, the JDM engines only come with AWD transmissions. Did you convert it to AWD too? Also, all the parts needed to do this does not cost $1500.

Funny, they don't have GS-T engines in Japan, much less the FWD trannies. You already said it was a JDM cyclone engine.
 
Ok, now the only difference between the american 4G63 and the ### version is the intake manifold, and on some the injectors/turbo. There is no reason why you can't put a FWD tranny on it. I have a 1G with a cyclone FWD in it.

You don't get it. He said it was a JDM engine at first, than he said it was a GS-T which is USDM, which is it?
