1g intake mani on 2g????

1g intake mani...is it worth it for 20 bux. Also I know Ive searched but what kind time does it take to install? Any modifacations needed other than porting them head? The mani will sit oposite of my 1g bov, throttle body, catback exhaust, free mods, mbc set at 13-14psi, and either my current 1g ic or a starion fmic....oh yeah and lest we forget a ported head. you can clearly see the difference in size... however, even having a ported head, it will not properly match-up. you would be best to port out the TB inlet on the stock 2g intake and slap a 1g 91-94 60mm TB on and leave it at that. if you want a 1g intake manifold, it would be better to swap the entire head and call it a day (or weekend, depending on how fast you work, or how many problems you encounter)

personally, i would rather do a head swap then just a manifold swap. having to reach those damn bolts that you can't even feel under the manifold, let alone see... then the manifold stay bracket bolts.... crap man

the head would be out anyways for porting and t belt change...so thats why I didnt put gettin to bolts a problem. I kow everyone including rre say why ntn get a 1g head and call it a day..but the intasll on the head alone is a weekend job for even a flat rate mechanic(limited tools at home) Plus the cost would be out of this world after cams, springs retainers, cost iof new head. Porting I do at work for free but that adds a nice 200 alone.
