Can I put Ext. WG on my o2 dump?

I have a big 16g with creep and also the wastegate actuator is possibly bad...so i want to go external.

Can i just cut off my dump tube, weld a flange for the external, and remove the flapper on the internal side?

should i port extremely around the internal wastegate hole?

should i go with something larger than 35mm Ext. WG?

anyone who has done something custom like this, help me out please!

i know u can out an ext dump on the o2, and i THINK you can remove the int wastegate. talk to p8ntballa.

yes you can do that, cut the tube, weld the WG on, remove the flapper and port the hole out larger

He got it.

Weld it to the dump tube. Then you have to mnake sure that it is getting enough flow. Remove the flapper and port that hole way open.

IMHO, this is the best way to go external.

i dont know how much help i can be here, i have mine on the manifold.

::i have heard that you can mill out the area between the wastegate hole after the flapper and the main exducer for the exhaust after the turbine wheel, that is supposed to stop creep and people have been successful with it. the only thing is you wont ever be able to put an external dump on that turbo again.::

but if you want to put an external gate on the 02 housing, all you need to do is completely remove the stock internal gate setup and port the shit out of the wastegate hole. then you need to mount the flange for the gate to the o2 housing, thats all you, keep in mind the wastegate doesnt look big till its in your engine bay.

thats all i can really say about it, lemme know if you need to know anything else.

this sounds like the way to go.....my car (just like every other DSM) is giving me headaches again....

alternator, WG, tires.....not sure which is going to go first, but they are all ready to kick the bucket at any moment....

I have a good deal on a deltaG WG 40mm ...which i could probably use down the road as well. they are big...and space is limited...i think worse on mine.
