Oxygen Sensor

If i get the Apexi Downpipe, either N1 or GT ,i would't be able to hook my oxygen sensor back right? That means my Check engine light will come on. What to do with the oxygen sensor to keep CEL off? Anyone with this downpipe, does your CEL came on?

The oxygen sensor plugs into the O2 sensor housing. Before the downpipe.

-If your getting a downpipe, you'll probably want a larger O2 sensor housing too while you're at it.

There are 2 O2 sensors in 2G. One is at O2 housing and another one is at the pipe after cat. If you replace only downpipe, you won't have the problem with front O2 sensor. But if you change the catback system, some of them won't have the O2 bung for rear O2 sensor, which make the CEL come on. However, some catback systems (like A'PEXi N1) already have the bung so you just screw in the sensor (don't forget to connect the ground too).

If your catback doesn't have the bung, you can weld the new one or use this mod to modify it. Good luck.
