Well I have my 16G in the car now. Yay.

The car had sat for about a month, and the battery terminals got all corroded (no, I didn't disconnect them, didn't think it'd be there for freaking all month) so I cleaned them with some baking soda, didn't give it a 2nd thought.

Anyway, once I got everything all in, and set for the test drive, I was very careful with the car at first, then started to get on it. Then I felt this weird thing, that felt like a fuel cut almost, but not very drastic, and not at high boost/rpms. I was just cruising slowly, and the car just... lost all power basically, and made a sound I can only describe as "bubububububu" very fast.

After talking to a few people, someone mentioned that they had a similar problem with a bad battery terminal connection. So I remembered mine, and went out, and cleaned the terminals with one of those... terminal cleaner thingies, with the brush hole, and brush stick combo.

It fixed my problem! It only did it once after that on a 350 mile trip (I think my terminals are just krusty/old at the wire connection anyway, so they need to be replaced).

I hope this helps someone with weird stuttering problems.

(I know this is more of an electrical/fuel type post, but I thought that people having the problem would look here for help)

That's very good info dude. Infact the very same damn thing happened to me awhile back. I thought I blew a headgasket or something, then I happened to notice my battery terminal was loose an corroded. I fixed it, and not thinking that, that was my problem at the time, the very next day I went to fiddle around with my car and started it, and "WHA LA" it started up fine and finally cleared itself out. I'm glad you mentioned this because I never did, because I completely forgot about posting about it. A weak battery, or a very badly corroded battery terminal will make your car run like #@%#@%#@%#@%. I can't believe our cars didn't come stock with a battery volt meter. Later!!!
