3" LS1 MAF & DSMlink

Ok, I want to run a 3" LS1 MAF blow through with DSMlink for tuning. If I just want the MAF and not the translater, will it still be a simple plug in or will I have to splice wires and such? I really want to get DSMlink because it is the best tuning device, but I also want the GM MAF, without speding $150 more for the translater. Is this possible?

you will have to buy the translator.

 

[DSM mechanix]

The GM MAF frequency ranges far too high for a DSM to read, the translator converts this to a frequency that can be read by a DSM ECU accurately.
