O2 HOUSING w/ DUMPTUBE

I would like to know if there are any benefits (power wise) of using a O2 housing with a dumptube rather than a regular O2 housing that plumbs back into the exhaust tube.
Any opinions????

I have heard of a few people of getting better ET's after installing a dumped O2. I do not know of anyone who has a dyno before and after to show an exact HP increase. It would also depend on your car and it's current mods.

I'm not ragging on you, but do you know what boost creep is; what causes it, and how it can be cured?

Boost creep is when you hit your desired psi, but then the excess exhaust gases can not escape out the wastegate passage to downpipe to catback fast enough; therefore some of the excess exhaust gases still turn the turbo turbine creating more boost.

To get rid of creep, you need the excess exhaust to freely flow out of the wastegate with as little impendance as possible. Porting out the wastegate flapper to 34mm helps, porting the crap out of an o2 housing helps for more flow, running a free flowing exhaust (test pipe), and the best thing of all, if you ran an o2 dump housing. There is then no restriction for the excess exhaust gases because they are dumped out immediately.

ye i know all about how boost creep works, and ive experienced it to know too........but i remember reading around and some fool was talking about his o2 dump makin him creep like crazy......maybe he was just spiking
