ok so I am rebuilding a head that broke the exhaust cam when it jumped the timing belt.
this is what we are doing to it (we are trying to stay really cheap)
262 or equivelent cams (I have a line on some used HKS for 200 bucks)
lower thermostat
mild prot job (basically jsut cleaning up some stuff, so its not so rough on the exhaust side)
2G exhaust mani. (stock one is cracked)
opening up the intercooler vent in the wheel well
IC spayer from twitch
hot wire the FP
maybe a exhaust with a high flow cat or a gutted one, (stock exhaust is rotting out)
K&N
Hacked MAF
DIY IC pipes
15 pounds of boost
some weight reduction (spare, trunk metal brackets, etc)
this is going into a FWD Laser that was purchased for 600.00 I think with traction it could get into the 13's or am I retarded
the car only has 58k miles and a brand new turbo that was done at mitsu dealership 1000 miles before timing belt jumped. should be fun
