im sure its been done but i wanted to know more info if there would be any benifits or disadvantages to tapping using a fogger nozzle your cold air intake that goes to the turbo and spraying nitrous into the turbo inlet. ive heard of a couple of people doing so but dont know much about it. if anyone can give me anymore info on this please let me know thank you

The only problem I could forsee with that setup is your spraying fuel through your entire turbo intercooler and intercooler pipes. It's not really designed to do that. If you did just a dry shot it might be ok.

The benefit from nitrous by way of cooling will be gained by just spraying it at the stock location. You dont need to spray it through your entire turbo system that will not make it any coolder. It cools everything down as it enters the combustion chamber and makes the power there so running it for all that distance is pretty useless in my opinion. We picked up 100whp on a 50hp NX Shot on a 350whp Miata my buddy has, and his nossle is 4 inches from the throttle body.

well i was hearing how this guy was spraying nitrous into the turbo turbine wheel to cool it down i didnt know if that would make more horsepower or cool the turbo down becuase nitrous is colder and u gain more power out of the turbo because of the kewl air or what?

That doesn't make any sense. You *want* heat applied on the turbine side, not cool air.

Ummm the inlet air going into the compressor housing never has contact with the turbine wheel/housing in any way, so how would it cool it in the first place even IF what the guy was saying made any actual sense? More to that point, that nice cool nitrous would get re-heated due to the compressing of air in the compressor housing. Next he'll tell you that spraying nitrous into the compressor inlet will spool the turbo faster similar to blowing on a pinwheel. :p
