I ordered a 50 trim turbo from extremepsi.com and it says it is bolt on, but i know it will at least take some custom oil and water lines. To anybody that has this turbo on their 2g DSM please let me know what all is needed for installation of this turbo, or if there is a VFAQ or similar instruction on installation please direct me there. Also what would be the best fuel setup to go with on this turbo, and what should i do temporarily to make it work with my smic until i get a fmic? Thanks.

Well.....thats quite a turbo to buy without even knowing what kind of fuel you are going to need. Honestly you should research and already know what you are going to do before you make an investment as large as that one. With that said, you have several options here.

I would get the SS oil line from RRE. I dont know about that particular turbo so I cant give you any info on water lines but i assume if its a "bolt on" it probably can use the stock lines. call the place you bought it and ask.

For fuel...i would reccomend 660's, an AFPR and a Supra (denso) fuel pump. That seems to be the fuel system of choice for people with moderately quick (mid-high 11s) DSMs. Sure you can be cheap and get a walbro and 550s, just dont plan on getting the full potential out of the turbo you just bought.

PS with the stock intercooler don't even think about running over 12-13 psi to be safe.
