First off my car is solely a project car and is in peices at this time as i am rebuilding the engine. The cars intention is a daily driver, buti bought a big 16g for that added kick. From what i have gathered after countless hours of reading is that i should be able to run 16psi on a 93 octane(michigan), a 190lph fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and stock injectors. Am i right? For the record i dont want to go to 550's and a controller for the sake of money and simplicity.

I think you guys missed the words "daily driver". MAYBE down the road i will upgrade more of the fuel system and go for more boost but at this point i'm just lookin to run safely because if i am fixing my car, i'm not driving my car.

Anyone else running a similair setup? Has anyone had a problem with fuel cut? And what would be the best way to tune the air/fuel mixture with these mods??

^^^^^^^^look up here!!!^^^^^^^^^

anyone had a problem with fuel cut on a simliar setup???

What you want to do sounds fine. I used to run a Walmart 190lph and an Al Blaha MAS with a 16G on a 1gen. Never had a problem running 18 psi on 93 octane.

I hit fuel cut any time my intake temps are below 70 degrees farenhiet (I have a guage) and I run 17lbs on 91 oct. stock injectors, 255lph, and a huge front mount. I'm not getting much knock and I was creeping to 17 anyway so I just set it there.

Hopefully If i can actually make some money or if somebody gave me some from the sky I'm gonna get a tunning system (DSMLink or AEM) and some 660's

Oh yeh and my EGT's never go above 1600...not even on the steepest of hills or when flooring it a 4500-5000rpms in 4th. So its pretty safe...I wonder what I could do with that 93.

Did that MAS help you out a lot or was it not much of a difference?? What other supporting mods did you have?

Yeah it made a huge difference, I'd reccomend it to anyone. Added throttle response, felt like it pulled it bit harder, biggest thing was I never hit fuel cut. Like I said I ran 18psi daily on 93 octane and would ocassionally experiment to 20 or 21 with no problem, but would start to lean out at high rpm on that much boost.

Supporting mods were a ported 2 gen exhaust mani and O2, 3" turboback w/test pipe, hard IC pipes, 190lph pump, big tbody elbow, MBC, and lots of small things, like all free mods, t-stat etc... Hope this helps.
