Brand New Cams.....Oily?

I just received my HKS 264/272 Cams from alamomotorsports. They are in their plastic wrap, however it seems that there is a little oil on the both of them. Are these supposed to come like this? I'm just hoping that they aren't selling me a used pair.

It's supposed to be like that ... prevents corrosion and such, they put that assembly lube type finish on all motor parts. No worries - enjoy the cams.

Mine came brand new in a oil bag too.

just clean the oil off, you will be fine. its a corrosion inhibitor.

i learned bout this in school. u got to parts wash that stuff off, then lube it up with the oil ure going to use

wash it off, then put a bunch of lube on that sucker
