Walrbo 255lph HIGH PRESSURE fuel pump

There were two types of fuel pumps, there was the 255lph, and the 255lph HIGH PRESSURE. I hope I got the right one?

I was just planning on running this turbo setup, no fuel management, or injectors. The question really comes down to a fuel pressure regulator. I was going to get the aeromotive A1000-6 FPR, it's static. I've read up on some things, and I've seen that if im going to be boosting, a FMU or Rising rate regulator would be better, being that it will allow more fuel for each pound of boost. What's your feedback on this?

What should I do about fuel management? After my engine rebuild, I was planning on doing the management for sure, possibly emanage being that I have profec e01 that controls it. Also, do I need to upgrade my injectors? Man I'm so frickin confused, this whole fuel and vacuum stuff has be so boggled.

Thanks so much guys

OK heres my opinion....Get bigger injectors...thats correct on the fmu..but the problem is your stock injectors will be on over load due to it...also i would get afc...or actually if you can afford like i here you can get the emanage due to having a greddy eo-1 already...so you don't need a labtop or anything..

The Aeromotive AFPR is a 1:1 regulator which is too slow for a non turbo car. You will need a Cartech from BEGI preferably thats 10:1 (fuel per pound of boost) that will keep your air/fuel right where you need, it is also adjustable for base fuel pressure and will help with that large pump your adding.

If you decide to run it with the Aeromotive, you will need to tap the end of your rail 3/8th's and run a 90 deg elbow out of it with 5/16 barb to the aeromotive fpr with a 5/16 barb fitting on the of of that. Then out the bottom of the Aeromotive to the cartech which will regulate flow back to the tank, then from the bottom of the Cartech to the fuel tank. Hook up vaccum to both.

Really you don't need the Aeromotive just use the cartech, it should be able to get you pretty damn close to stock fuel pressure with that fuel pump. You can not run a 1:1 on a non turbo it, it doesn't work that way. Your car has no adjustment for boost at all, where a stock turbo car does so we don't need an FMU as it's built into the computer on a stock turbo car.

An AFC is also a good idea to help with fuel over specific RPM ranges where you may be running lean here and there. If you have access to a wideband O2 sensor that will help greatly when setting this all up.

AHHHHHHHHHHH I am soooo confused.

If I run 450cc's people are telling me that the aeromotive afpr (http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp?initemuid=401&fcmd=item&inmake=all) will be fine. And that if I run a 12/10/6/:1 it will be way too much fuel going in. Basically I just need around the stock pressure, and when boosting push a little more fuel in. Feed back and maybe a link to learn more about this topic may help. Thanks guys...
