currently i am looking for a talon to build up a little, I plan on rebuilding the engine and then go about putting on a 2G exh. manny poeted o2 housing 2.5 downpipe cat and catback exhaust. If I put on a new turbo lets say a small 16G would i need to get a S-Afc if i also put on bigger injectors and fuel pump. Would i need to alter timing or anything if i put 2G pistons in the engine. And as far as 1G stock pistons go i believe i'd be fine.

You can use a small 16G with the stock fuel system, but you have to keep the boost low (about 12psi) to be safe. Your best bet would be to upgrade the fuel system and not risk damaging anything.

You don't need to alter the timing when using 2G pistons, the compression is not that much higher than 1G pistons that you need to worry about that.

So if i upgraded the fuel system would i have to use s-afc cuz i thought if u used higher flowing injectors u had to use an afc to lean out the fuel injection at certain rpms because otherwise it'd be too rich. Would i be able to run 13 psi with upgraded fuel pump

If you upgrade the injectors, you'll need to use an AFC. I suppose you could run 13psi with just a pump, but keep an eye on EGTs and if you feel or hear anything that doesn't sound right, let off immediatley and lower the boost.
