have you guys seen this on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1844741159

I thought there was a post on this forum but could not find it. Anyways, i saw a website that showed how to make this on your own. It said to use a cardboard like material. others say aluminum.
Wouldnt cardboard be succeptable to rain damage?
would aluminum or steel best reflect heat?
do you really need the top part like that on ebay?
Or can you just buy a rubber piping..and put it along the top of the box and use the eclipse hood as the top?

thanks

That is exactly what mine looks like! I can't really tell a difference in temps cause it's so damn hot anyways. I have never tried to measure the temps before and after hard runs either, but surely it's gotta help some. It definitley helps keep the fans from blowing even more hot air from off of the radiator.

I have the silver sheet metal shield like in post #2. As was mentioned, I'm gonna put a bigger piece of "sealer" tubing on the top because right now it's not too close to the hood with just the small clear tubing that comes with it, so it doesn't seal at all. I got some already-split foam pipe insulation from Home Depot the other day and am gonna put it on when I get the chance.
