might I get compressor surge...?

Hello, I've got a '95 gsx, and I bought the car with a buddy club front bumper. Its completely stock under the hood (hoping to change that soon) but I noticed that there is nowhere for my intercooler to draw in air from the outside. I know stock bumpers have a hole in them where the intercooler is so it can draw in air, but my buddy club does not. Will I be OK like this, or should I be finding a way around it. Oh, if anyone wants to trade a front bumper let me know.

Hello Heatsoak! Time for some quality hacksaw modifications I think. The factory IC is way too weak to begin with, you definately need to be concerned with your current setup. Iowa is cold in the winters though.

Compressor Surge? No. Heatsoak? Yes.

The body kit was probably desinged with intention of using an FMIC, or at least a fake plastic one for the ultimate in "bling". Whoever owned your car before was a ricer because they did a mod that is detrimental to performance in order to display how small their penis is. But, all is not lost. Get an FMIC. Until then don't worry about the SMIC, it's shitty to start with. Passing air through sh!t doesn't make it a rose.

haha, maybe some other time Actually I just bought a new Extreme UIP and 1G BOV, the '97 front bumper, and a boost and a/f guage if you wanna help with the install.
