So my cv joints are fairly worn (i think they are going to just fall apart soon) and i need to replace them soon. Well i just stumbled on the install they have on dsmtuners, and they used the raxles half-shafts. Well I was going to replace the shafts anyways, but i was wondering if anyone had the rebuilt ones that most parts dealers sell? I can get a really good deal on them $60 cdn a side. But on that raxles site they preach that the used core ones have a very high failure rate.

So here is the big question... Should i shell out the extra money and get the raxles ones (I would have to pay more, and shipping across the border) or just get some from lordco. Any responses will be apreciated.

(I know this is the engine performance forum, but the install on dsmtuners was posted here)

I was going to purchase from Raxles. However I found a deal on a set from a local auto parts shop w/ a lifetime warranty that would save me quite a bit. When I called them, they gave me all the info I needed. I would check with your local shop to see what type of warranty there would be. A lifetime warranty would help if they offer it.
