3k Vr4 Fuel Pump!!!

Hey guys, a friend of mine just upgraded his VR4 fuel pump and gave me for free his old 3000VR4 fuel pump. I know this is a direct bolt on for my 1G Talon AWD and being a denso pump I'll asume it will be as quiet as the stocker. It is a 180lph pump so my question is basically how much boost can I handle with this pump and the following mods:
big 16G
3" catback
2.5" downpipe
evo FMIC
modded MAF
stock injectors

Now that the "old style" Nippo pump is no longer available, TT 3000GT make the most sence to use 1Gs! It is cheap ($40-$60 or free and flows less than Supra pump (which is a good thing on mildly modifed cars).

I put mine in and it was great.EWasy install...quiet and it flows enough for now....cheap as well so..a good upgrade for a slightly modded car

According to RRE website you could boost up to 18 psi. You can boost to 21 if u had 550cc injectors.

Thanx guys I'll go for a max boost of 18PSI on my regular 97 octane pump gas. That is until I can get a hand on those 550's. I'll need a S-AFC to use with those right???

Wait, how can it be a "direct bolt in" with "perfect fit" for 2G's? 3000GT pump is a typical Nippo pump, it is just like 1G, "Nippo Upgrade" or Supra or Cosmo pumps. 2Gs have "Walbro style", thinner pumps.

Fitting a Nippo style pump in a 2G is not very difficult, but is not as easy as bolting-in a Walbro pump...

... unless there is another style of 3000GT pump that I do not know about... which is not out of the question

Not exactly a direct bolton as it is a little fatter and longer then the stock pump but its not to hard to get it installed on a 2g.

huh you can run 18psi daily with the 3KGT 180lph pump? .. thought it was still not enough supply to run 18psi safely (not rewired)

Guys on 3000GT VR4 board are selling these thing for around $40-$60. Why anyone would pay $200+ for a new one is beyond me...

Used Supra pumps go for $100-$120, New Supra pumps cost around $180.

See why I have a problem with paying $200+ for 3000GT VR4 pumps?
