In Need Of Help! Please Read!!!!!

ok first off i have a 1991 TSi AWD. Ok i want get rid of all my crap i dont need in my engine bay. i threw the batt in the back. now im onto the emissions equipment. i removed the charcoal cansister. and i plugged up the vac lines going from the canister to the lower part of the intak mani, then i removed the 2 vac lines going underneath the thermostat housing, and also plugged up the lines going under the intake mani, and there were 2 vac lines that ran from under the thermostat housing to a regualtor or solinoid under the throttle body and i dont know what that is and if i need that. anways i hope you understand this and i need any other info on other crap i dont need to help make room for working!
