Has anyone ever made their own o2 /housing eleminator downpipe.
I noticed roadrace sold the flanges that bolts up the turbo, and the other day at work I found some cast steel els that were 2.5 inch. It seems like it is just welding a bung, and a flange then adding a dump tube. I am sure a welder could do all this for 20 or 30 dollars. And it would only cost another 40 dollars in parts. What I dont understand is will making the o2 outlet 2.5 inches might be a huge upgrade, I have a 3 inch donwpipe right now and was thiking of just welding a longer pipe down from the flange and making it an o2 elminator downpipe.
What do yall think?
