external on the stock turbo...wtf?

Porting out the wastegate passage and porting your o2 should help. after that then work from the o2 back making sure its as least resrictive as possible...

have the internal wastegate 34mm modification performed on whatever turbo you have( 14b 16g etc...) i addition to the EVO Os sensor housing.
Regards
Rebuilt

Ok anyone know where I can get a exhaust housing? I want to send it in and have SBR do the 34mm Flapper, but I need my car running while they do that. And then I will also get a O2 housing from RnR Racing to go with it.

just talk to mike...I bet he would be happy to send you a stock housing while you send yours to him to get worked on as long as you pay shipping. I suggest calling and asking him about this...

or maybe he can just do an exhaust housing that he has sitting there, and then send it to me and I can send my old one to him. Just a thought, I will call him and see.

The EVO O2 housing is 2.5" at the outlet. The wastegate passage is bigger than the stock housing. It can be ported even larger.

Dude listen you have to have a shop near by. Buy the 34mm flapper from TRE then bring it to a near by shop (the turbo that is) and have them do the flapper. I just had mine done and it works mint on the big16g at 16psi. Don’t spend a lot of money sending it out and such.

Just drop the turbo and bring it down.

I am listening, what are you talking about.

No shop around here that does any turbo work, or would understand. Closest is 2 hours away in Spokane, WA. And I have to have a car to get to work and such, I don't have another car here. I live in lewiston ID where most of the mechanics and such are podunk porking their cousins know nothing about turbo imports people. Now the guys that do know imports around here, don't have the machinery to do any porting work, and machine the housing the flapper sits flat.

$60 from SBR to much?
