Big gulp of unmetered air. Now it ticks.

I made an intake and was testing it out. Worked great until the BOV dump tube blew off at 125 mph WOT. The engine got as much air as it could pull through a 1" hole (approx) I put tube back on and nursed home but now there is a tick in the motor. What did I break?

Worst case is that you went lean and the tick is rod knock, but do a compression check first.
