short block ??

will a 7 bolt head fit on a 6 bolt block??
is there any wiring changes needed to change a 7 bolt to a 6 bolt

i do beleive there the same. but ceck because the 6-bolt has different head studs then the 7-bolt. i think itll work though, but im not sure

You mean the head in a 2nd gen, not a 7 bolt head as there is no such thing. Anyway a 2g head has to be machined to fit over the studs on a 6 bolt block.

i thnk he means the hea that came off of th 1g 7-bolt motors. since the 2 have different head studs he was thinking mybethe heads were different. that i dont know, i dont think so though. anything late 92-94 is 7-bolt. anything late 89- early 92 is 6-bolt. and yes the motors are different
