simply as an oil change man...
bolt it ot the back of the block and install the belt.
Do I need to keep the AC condenser mount in there, or take it out (trimmed to retain the mounts for the intermediate shaft)? I got one aluminum mounting bracket (two bolt holes in it), a mounting bolt, and a nut. Care to guide me through a quick install? Doesn't seem quite as easy as an oil change.;)

What is the point of moving the alternator?
Basically it just clears out a little room. Cleans up the engine bay a bit. I've already put in a manual rack (no power steering pump) and taken out the AC. Not much left in there...

The a/c condensor is the radiator looking thing by the radiator. the compressor is what bolts to the back of the block. Yes Im sorry i should have specified. I figured you would have known if you bought the kit. You have to remove the compressor. You can use the inner belt space for the alternator. But either way you do it (leaving the bracket or not) you still have to mount the new one where the conpressor would be.

basically it is for clearing up space that you'll be using. beleive it or not it does help a LOT when trying to make a turbo setup fit. It also is a hellofalot easier to take off the oil filter (unless that relocated to:D )...

DOH! I ment to say the compressor, not condenser. Fingers were typing faster than my brain was processing. Anyhoo, I see how the bracket attaches to the alternator. I'm assuming the other end of the alternator is mounted with the long, slotted bracket that is used to mount it in the stock location. I'm assuming that the AC belt tensioner can be used too, correct? Thanks for any help candela, it's definitely appreciated.
