Hey guys,

I just installed the Joe P MBC and the instructions said to take out the two tubes connected to the wastegate solenoid. Do I need to block up those two connections and the open connection on the intake pipe or just leave them be.

Thanks a head of time

hmm.. there should be a hose on your wastegate and a hose on your turbo.. they both go to the MBC now instead of the Boost Control Solenoid thats in yer car.. the intake hoses have nothing to do with the boost controller

Yeah, but I took out the hose that used to go from the wastegate solenoid to the turbo inlet and the turbo wastegate. Im wondering if I need to do anything to the wastegate solenoid opening that is left. There is another hose going from the wastegate solenoid to the intake pipe and since my instructions said to take out both hoses I took that one out as well.

Maybe this will clear it up. There are two tubes connected to the boost control solenoid. One goes to the intake pipe and the other splits and connects to the wastegate and the turbo compressor housing. As per the Joe P instructions, I removed both of these tubes and then connected the Joe P MBC up to the turbo compressor housing nipple and the wastegate.

So, I hope that was clear. I am just wondering if I need to do anything to the intake pipe connection that is open now and if those connetions sounded right.
Thanks!

Okay, I hope this clears this up. There are two tubes connected to the wastegate solenoid. I disconnected these tubes as per the Joe P instructions. One of these tubes splits and connects to the wastegate and the turbo compressor housing. These two connections are where I connected my boost controller. Now, the other tube that comes from the solenoid connects to the intake pipe. I was wondering if I need to do anything to this outlet since I removed the tube that connects to it.

Thanks!

I think you are trying to explain this picture I am going to try to post here.
