HKS vs Apexi

hey guys, i'm looking for exhaust and I wanted to know how the HKS hyper compares to the Apexi N1. I know they both come out on an angle but how do they sound? which is better? better performace? I don't want an exhaust that sounds like a weedwhacker. I have a 97 talon Tsi. Thanks for any advice

Others may disagree, but my buddy had a Hyper on his last GSX and a N1 now and the N1 is much more quiet. He totalled his last car as well as the Hyper exhaust and that is when he switched to the N1.

Call me crazy, but I even think that the N1 with his downpipe (non N1) is still more quiet than just the Hyper.

performance wise i dont see any real difference. however i like the look of the n1 on a 2g platform better than the hks.

hehe you guys think the N1 is quiet?? Ill tell you what, its not loud inside the car but I let my friend drive my car and he went by me at WOT and DAMN.. that thing sounds like a beast when it comes by you and you can hear it like 4 blocks away.. thats with the N1 and Apexi downpipe as well

The HKS also has smaller piping, just get the N1!
