Ok fellow tuners, i need a bit of help in pointing me in the right direction. I got two questions: First, im having a bit a trouble at random during start up. My car has emission deleted already, so some say im fighting vapor lock. Others say my fuel pump leaks pressure so it has to be primed in order to get fuel to the injectors. Either way i know something is leaking somewhere. What should i be looking for/ replacing in order to fix this problem? Car run like a champ, its has trouble starting up sometimes.
Second, im running FIC 750cc on my B16g with supporting mods(link,255,FMIC,3inch exhaust bla bla) right now but i plan on getting retuned soon. Im really looking to break the 300 mark and im not looking to spend money again if i dont make it. So, im going up injector size to 1000cc just to make sure fuel wont be my problem. The thing is, i can get a pretty sweet deal on some RC 1200cc but will this be too much? Dont want to be fighting an idle issue since this really my DD from LA to SF. Thanks for taking time to read this.

Nice, so you dont think that 1200 will be too big? I might go e85 as well so i think these will be prefect.

Check to see how long pressure holds after shutoff, it shouldn't drop drastically there's a check valve in the line to make sure it doesn't.

Where is this check valve? Im going to be pulling the fuel pump assembly soon to check everything out.

It should be part of the sender assembly. Just see if fuel pressure drops rapidly after shutdown.

The check valve is part of the pump, not the sending unit or the lines. It's inside the plastic outlet nipple of the pump.

If it's not part of the pump, you have a problem:

Sorry, I know how to troubleshoot a car I just don't know the location of every part on every single car.
