has anyone here tried the apc intake adapter? If so, did you have to modifiy the aluminum bracket the attaches to the mass airflow sensor (i think thats what that is)Does anyone know where the hell the breather is supposed to go, I'm new at doin this type of stuff. If nobody's tried it, stay the hell away from it. I only bought it because it wasn't as expensive as anyother intake, although it makes my turbo sound like it was off a turbo car in the gran turismo video game, Thats probably from the large gap due to the improperly fitting adapter and lack of correct bolts. Now I'm gonna have to get a more expensive intake after i pay my god damn ticket. damn cops

never tried it but I can honestly say I wouldnt want a company like APCs intake on my car.. just becuz there known for fitment issues with their ever so popular altezzas.. I dont think I want to leave fate of an intake up to them

yeah apc sucks. I've got some of their tail lights coming in (not altezzas) because their the only company i know that has their light assemblys dot approved.

i bought my intake adapter and filter element off ebay. It's a pace setter system. I know pace setter isnt exactly known for being top of the line but the kit installed within 10 minutes the sound is great and the flow rates are excellent.
Not to mention the fact that the entire unit was onle 25 bucks!
I love it and it was definately one of the best mods for the price.

yeah, i got an adapter and cone filter off ebay for my spyder...it was made by like cosmo racing or some other generic brand...fit's perfect and works great. only about $30

i'm gonna keep my filter after filing the crap out of the adapter and redrilling the holes, do you guys use something to hold the cone steady or just let it flap in the breeze? I was thinking about making a braket to hold it but it'll block the air flow, and probably won't be very good for looks either.

my filter and adaptor came with all the hardware needed to mount the intake.
that included a support brace that bolted directly to one of the existing holes from the stock intake housing, all the screws and bolts, the adaptor and the filter.
i love it and it looks great!
