Just wondering what your specific gap I should use for 18 psi right now. I know .20-.25 but can you tell me if I should go on the high side or low LOL

Depends on your setup. Every motor is different. I would try .027 first. The hotter the spark, the better/more fuel is burnt.

You may have made a simple typo but just for future reference make sure you count your decimal places! Especially if you're giving advice. Im not railing ya, just helping out :thumb: it would be a shame if somebody saw .25 as opposed to .025 and tried to get a quarter inch gap in their plugs ;)

Yeah haha my mistake

Yes I am trying .027 first :) my car is tuned on a speed density setup with dsmlink v3 running 18psi right now. Running a little on the rich side so do you think .027 is perfect? I am going to be running 23psi when I get my injectors in and tune. Will this gap be good for my setup in the future also? Thanks and sorry for all the questions LOL

No one can answer that indefinably, as again, every setup is different. Only way to find out is to try it. If you are getting knock, and can't get rid of it, check your plugs to be sure it's real knock, and try gapping them lower/going to a colder plug.

I am getting 2 degrees of knock at the top of 3rd, so bpr7es at .027 is what I'm going for, won't hurt to try LOL

Go non projected BR7ES at around .022. At around 25 psi on MY setup, i had to switch to BR8s gapped at .018. Stopped alot of knock i was getting. Trial and error, give it a shot. BTW, i actually idle fine at .018 gap. I think i could go even lower and probably will when i get up to 35-40psi
