Ok i have a Turbo Injen intake for my 98 GSX and it the style that doesnt have a air retun, so u must use a aftermarket BOV to vent into the atmosphere..

------My question is will a Greddy Type S work with this or does the Greddy only recurculate(?) air back into the intake, or can it vent to the atmosphere????

If someone could give me some quick help on a dumb question it would be helpful!!!! :dsm:

But venting is not good for our cars or for Performance. You WANT to re-circulate. I would taking your injen pipe somewhere and having them weld on a re-circulating tube for the bov.

Just out of question, what are you doing now? What bov are using currently using, and you must be venting it right?

No nothing i am running a K&N filter as far as intake i dont have the injen intake on. I have an Apex BOV, but it sucks ASS.

-----So how does the greddy vent, because when i look at pics of it on cars i see a the return valve stuck onto a circular opening on the BOV?

You can vent it to the atmosphere, but if you are really want your car to run the best. You would recirculate the air back into the intake. The reason behind this, is because the air that is being forced out of the BOV has been already accounted for by the MAS. So if you vent the BOV to the atmosphere, you are missing air that is accounted for so in return you begin to run rich(too much fuel). If you are not running a VPC or another engine mangement system, it is best to recirculate the BOV. And no you cannot fix the problem with AFC.

Also, most BOV's have a flange on them making it possible to recirculate. Even the HKS can be made to do so.
