another car or bigger turbo?

I cannot decide which I should get. I am debating over a 90 gsx for $550 with a siezed up block (I would swap another motor) and a 20g turbo setup for my 92 tsi awd (7 bolt). I think I could get the 90 gsx running with a new motor for ~$1800.

The turbo setup on the other hand is darkside racings turbo bargain:
-20g turbo ported
-tial 35mm wastegate
-new 2g manifold with flange mounted on it

I would also have some money for 660's and I already have a walbro 255 and safc (both not installed yet). What would you do?

Well what condition is your car in. If it's in good shape then I wouldn't jack around with trying to swap motors. Since you already have AWD just put the turbo on this car and build up a 6-bolt on the side.

My car is in great shape but I am thinking about modding another car also. If I got the 90 gsx, I would swap in another engine, fully gut the car, throw the 20g turbo setup on that car along with fuel components, and have that as more of a race car. I would keep this one pretty much how it is now (except fix boost creep) and have this as more of a daily driver. I would like to have a extra car so if something goes wrong but am not sure what to so first. Car or turbo setup on current car.

it's all up to you. i personally would go for gsx, because it would be cool to have something to work on without worrying that if you mess up you have to find a ride to work tommorow.

screw that. buy the 20g set up. who wants the hassle of swapping a motor? who knows what else is wrong with the car? do you want two headaches? do the 20g.

If money is no object, and you have a lot of spare time, then get the second car. I think you could do better with one really nice car instead of two half baked cars.
